MIDI device

If you have a MIDI device connected to your computer, you can use it to play the notes in the MIDI file. This can be useful if you want to use a different sound than the one provided by the app.

Send specification reset message

Desktop only

Enable this option to send a MIDI specification reset message to your device when you start playing a MIDI file. This can help ensure that your device is in a known state before playback begins.

In the settings tab, select a MIDI specification from the dropdown menu. The app will send the corresponding reset message to your device when you start playback.
