Graphics
You can adjust the graphics settings of the application to optimize performance or enhance visual quality.
Fullscreen
Desktop only
When turned on, the performance takes up the entire screen. When turned off, the app displays in a window. (See Resolution below for more information on windowed mode.)
Resolution
Desktop only
There are two options for setting the resolution of the performance window:
- Default – The app will take up most of the screen, but will leave a small border around the edges.
- Custom – You can specify the exact width and height of the performance window in pixels.
Shadows
Shadows can enhance the visual quality of the performance, but they can also impact performance. You can choose to enable or disable shadows based on your preference and system capabilities, and set their quality.
- None (fake) – No shadows are rendered. Instead, a simple darkening effect is applied to the ground beneath objects to simulate the presence of shadows (how it appears in MIDIJam).
- Low, Medium & High – Real-time shadows are rendered with varying levels of detail and quality. Higher settings provide more realistic shadows but may reduce performance on lower-end systems.
Android
On Android devices, you can only choose to enable or disable shadows.
Antialiasing
Desktop only
Antialiasing smooths out the jagged edges of objects, but it can also impact performance. You can choose to enable or disable antialiasing based on your preference and system capabilities.
- None – No antialiasing is applied. This may result in jagged edges on objects, especially at lower resolutions.
- Low, Medium & High – Different levels of antialiasing are applied to smooth out the edges of objects. Higher settings provide better quality but may reduce performance on lower-end systems.
