Lyrics

If the MIDI file contains lyrics, they can be displayed on screen.

The first line shows the current line of lyrics. As syllables elapse, their color changes to white. Upcoming syllables are gray.

The second line shows the next line of lyrics, so you can read ahead. It is hidden at the end of a stanza.

Lyrics settings

Find these settings in the settings tab, under On-screen elements.

• Lyrics – Turn on or turn off lyrics.
• Lyrics size – How large the lyrics appear.
• Lyrics style – How the sung part of each line is highlighted:
  • By syllable – Each syllable turns white all at once when it is sung.
  • Glide – The highlight sweeps smoothly through each syllable, like karaoke.
