Synthesizer

You can configure the built-in software synthesizer to customize how MIDI files are played.

Reverb and chorus

You can enable reverb and chorus effects to enhance the sound of the synthesizer.

• Reverb simulates the effect of sound reflecting off surfaces in a room, creating a sense of space.
• Chorus adds slight variations to the pitch and timing of the notes, creating a richer, fuller sound.

Enable or disable these effects in the settings tab.

Warning

These settings work by sending a control change event to the synthesizer. If the MIDI file also sends control change events for these effects, the settings in the synthesizer configuration may not work as expected.
