Synthesizer

midis2jam2 uses the Gervill synthesizer to play MIDI files. The synthesizer is a software synthesizer that uses the Java Sound API to generate audio.

Configuration

Reverb and chorus effects can be enabled or disabled in the synthesizer configuration.

Warning

These settings work by sending a control change event to the synthesizer. If the MIDI file also sends control change events for these effects, the settings in the synthesizer configuration may not work as expected.
